I started Fravella Hair because I was you.

I spent years buying hair extensions that never matched what was described. I remember ordering hair that was listed as good quality raw hair— beautiful, thick and luxurious. What arrived looked good at first until it no longer did. After one install, it began to shed and tangle excessively. I ran my fingers through it and watched the hair fall away in my hands. I had paid good money for that. I sat there feeling frustrated, cheated, and completely lost, because I didn’t even have the knowledge to understand what had gone wrong or what questions I should have asked before buying.

Nobody explained it to me. Not the sellers, not the brands, not the beautifully curated Instagram pages. I was spending good money, over and over, on hair I didn’t truly understand and getting disappointing results I couldn’t explain.

So I decided to learn everything.

I researched about the different types of hair. I learned the difference between raw and virgin hair, what cuticle alignment actually means and why it determines whether your hair tangles or flows. I found out where some of the best hairs in the world comes from, how it’s collected, and what separates hair that lasts two years from hair that barely survives two months. I learned what super double drawn and single drawn really means, what single donor hair and multiple donor hair actually is , and why so many brands use language designed to confuse rather than inform. The more I learned, the more I realised how much this industry relies on customers not knowing what they’re buying.

We source our raw hair directly from donors in Southeast Asia and our virgin hair from Vietnam, because we’ve done the research so you don’t have to. Every product is exactly what it says it is.
